It's official: Ken - I mean Jake - has been confirmed as the next Bachelor. Doesn't Jake look exactly like Barbie's Ken in this photo? I think the resemblance is a little eerie. I can't tell for sure but it appears that he could be wearing his pilot wings pin with his suit in this photo which led me to think of a genius idea. Show of hands - who thinks Jake should give pilot wings instead of roses this year? Then we could call it a wing ceremony and Jake can say things like, "These women are angels and I have the opportunity to give them their wings." And at the wing ceremony before Jake gives out the last pin Chris Harrison would enter to announce, "Ladies, Jake...this is the final wing pin tonight." And after all the wings were handed out Chris would come back in the room and say, "Ladies if you did not receive your wings tonight please take a moment and say your good-byes." And then on the first one-on-one date Bette Midler would appear to serenade the couple with her 1989 hit song You are the Wind Beneath my Wings. Who's with me!?

this is totally making me laugh. i mean-he is cute. but the wings? come on! i love the wing ceremony idea. i found myself thinking of other ways to run with it.
